New London Ale is a drink sold in the bars of the Colony, most commonly in the Rookeries.

New London Ale is commonly enjoyed by Tam Macaulay and his gang. It is served in large tankards (metal beer mugs). As a treat, a slug is sometimes found at the bottom of a shot, with a superstition that you will be married within a month if you don't eat it.
The drink is thought to have a high alcohol content. Tam has said that you really don't want to know what it's made of.
The expression "deader than a slug in a pint of New London" is used by some Colonists (ex. Eliza)
